HALL AND PENA TRESTINI EARN EAGL HONORS FOR EFFORTS VS. PENN STATE

This marks the league-leading third time this season that Hall has been named gymnast of the week and the third time that Pena Trestini was the specialist during the past five weeks.

Hall had the highest all-around score among all EAGL gymnasts vs. Penn State, as she posted a mark of 39.3. in UNH's 195.7-194.075 loss to the No. 17th ranked Nittany Lions. It was also the sixth-best all-around score this season in the EAGL conference.

Hall took first-place honors in the vault and floor with season-highs of 9.875 and 9.9, respectively. In her other two events, she was third on bars (9.85) and fifth on beam (9.675).

Pena Trestini has been consistently one of the best non-all-arounders in the nation and won two events for the Wildcats vs. Penn State. She recorded a season-high of 9.9 on bars and she took top honors on beam with a score of 9.775. She just missed finishing first in the floor exercise with a 9.875. So far this season, Pena Trestini has the top EAGL score on balance beam (9.9), and the top score among all EAGL gymnasts on bars with a 9.9.

UNH is ranked third among the top teams in the EAGL conference with an average of 193.111 and a top score of 194.4. West Virginia leads all EAGL teams with a 193.870 average.

The women's gymnastics team is also providing a special bonus for gymnastics fans this Wed., Feb. 8. The team will be the host of a home meet vs. Bridgeport and admission for the meet is free for the only time this season. The action is set to begin at 7 p.m. in Lundholm Gymnasium
