DURHAM, N.H.—The University of New Hampshire women’s gymnastics team had 14 student-athletes named to the EAGL All-Academic team on Tuesday in recognition of their outstanding work in the classroom.
A total of 97 student-athletes from the eight East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) schools have been named to the squad. The Wildcats were tied for second in league with 14 members.
In order to be named to the EAGL All-Academic team, student-athletes must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher in the two previous semesters. Freshmen are also eligible, if they earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester.
Four members of UNH’s junior class have been named to the All-Academic team for the third time. Here’s a look at UNH’s honorees:
