The Wildcats, coming off a 16-6 season in 2010, finished fourth at the EAGL championship meet and ranked 30th nationally. UNH boasts a pair of returning All-EAGL performers in senior co-captain Chelsea Steinberg (Ridgewood, N.J.), who was named First Team on balance beam and Second Team in vault, floor exercise and all-around in 2010, and junior Danielle Reibold (Horsham, Pa.), a First Team performer on uneven bars last season.

"We are focusing our efforts on improving from our fourth-place finish a year ago," head coach Gail Goodspeed said. "If our top-line performers reach their potential and we stay healthy, we are confident we can attain our team goals in this competitive EAGL season."

New Hampshire earned 32 points in the preseason poll. North Carolina State, with 44 points, was picked to finish first, defending EAGL champion North Carolina (42 points) was selected second and West Virginia (40) was picked third. Positions five through eight are Maryland (23), Pittsburgh (21), George Washington (14) and Rutgers (eight), respectively. Voting was conducted among the league's eight head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own teams.
