Williams to leave UNH Men's Basketball Team

DURHAM, N.H. - Sophomore Marcelle Williams (Teaneck, N.J.), a starting point guard for the University of New Hampshire men's basketball team a season ago, was granted his release on Wednesday and officially withdrew from the university.

Williams, who left the team during the fall semester for personal reasons, led the Wildcats in scoring during the 1999-2000 campaign with 13.6 points per game and was named to the America East All-Rookie Team.
