JANEV REACHES 1,000 CAREER POINTS IN WILDCAT WIN OVER QUINNIPIAC
DURHAM, N.H. – Senior co-captain Blagoj Janev (Sydney, Australia) registered a game-high 23 points in Sunday’s 64-59 win over Quinnipiac en route to reaching 1,000 career points.
    Janev became the 24th player in the history of the men’s basketball program to achieve such an accomplishment. Janev leads the team in scoring and rebounding; averaging 13.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game respectively. Janev has compiled 1,006 career points for the Wildcats. He has scored at least 200 points each season as a member of the Wildcats, including last season’s career-high 417 points in a single season. Janev, who was named to the All-America East Preseason Team currently ranks 7th all-time in three-point field goal percentage (.385%) while at UNH.
    UNH alum Al McClain, who played from 1980-1984, ranks first on the all-time scoring list with 1,861 career points.
