DURHAM, N.H.-The University of New Hampshire men's ice hockey team will hold its annual Alumni Weekend on Aug13-14.
On Sunday, Aug.13, former UNH players will take part in two Alumni games beginning at 4 p.m. at the Whittemore Center Arena. In the early game, players from the 1960s and '70s will square off and players from the '80s and '90s will face off at 6:30 p.m.
Admission to the Whittemore Center for the games is free. Some former Wildcats expected to play are Ralph Cox, Tim Burke, Bruce Crowder, Mark Mowers, Domenic Amodeo, Andy Brickley and Eric Royal.
Alumni Weekend activities continue on Monday, Aug. 14 with the annual Friends of UNH Hockey Golf Tournament. This year's tournament proceeds will directly benefit the Charles E. Holt Scholarship Endowment. More than 200 players - including several former players - are expected to tee off at both Cochecho Country Club in Dover and Pease Golf Course in Newington. Players tee off at Cochecho at 8 a.m. and at Pease at 8:30 a.m. with a reception to follow at Pease.
