WILDCAT HOCKEY REMAINS NO. 1 IN NATION

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire men's hockey team remains No. 1 in the nation in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine and U.S. College Hockey Online polls after tying Northeastern University last Friday night at Matthews Arena in Boston, Mass., 2-2.

This marks the second consecutive week the Wildcats (2-0-2 overall, 0-0-1 Hockey East) are No. 1 in the nation with 234 points overall and seven of a possible 17 first-place votes in the USA Today poll. In the USCHO poll, the 'Cats earned 20 of 40 first-place votes and 566 points overall.

UNH returns to action at home on Nov.1 vs. Merrimack College. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Whittemore Center. The Wildcats play Boston University at home Nov. 2 (7 p.m.).
