DURHAM, N.H.- The University of New Hampshire athletic department and New Hampshire Public Television have announced a 10-game men's ice hockey television schedule for the upcoming 2003-2004 season.
The first NHPTV broadcast will be Saturday, Nov. 8 vs. Hockey East rival University of Maine Black Bears. The other highlighted games on the schedule include Saturday, Feb. 28 vs. the Boston College Eagles and Saturday, March 6 vs. the Boston University Terriers.
The remaining seven games are: Nov. 22 vs. Northeastern; Dec. 13 vs. Merrimack; Jan. 3 vs. Yale; Jan. 10 vs. Providence; Jan. 17 vs. Brown; Feb. 7 vs. Massachusetts; and Feb. 14 vs. UMass-Lowell.
All 10 games will be broadcast live from the Whittemore Center beginning at 7 p.m. and will also be available on webcast at www.nhptv.org.
The NHPTV broadcast team consists of Dan Parkhurst (play-by-play) and Bob Norton handling the color commentary.
The Wildcats open the season Saturday, Oct. 4 with an exhibition game against the U.S. Select-18 Team. Game time is 7 p.m. at the Whittemore Center. UNH plays the University of Vermont on Saturday, Oct. 11 in the season opener at the Whittemore Center. Game time is 7 p.m.
