NHPTV announces UNH men's hockey broadcast schedule

DURHAM, N.H. -The University of New Hampshire athletic department and New Hampshire Public Television have announced the 10-game men's ice hockey television schedule for the upcoming 2004-2005 season.

The first NHPTV broadcast will be Saturday, Oct.9th in the Wildcats' season opener, as UNH hosts Ohio State in the IceBreaker Tournament held at the Whittemore Center. The other highlighted games on the schedule include the final game of the IceBreaker against St. Lawrence or St. Cloud on Oct. 10th, February 5th vs. the Maine Black Bears and Boston University on Saturday, March 5th.

The remaining six games are: Nov. 12 vs. Providence; Nov. 19 vs. Northeastern; Dec. 3 vs. Clarkson; Jan. 8 vs. Providence; Jan. 15 vs. Yale and Jan. 29 vs. UMass-Lowell.

All 10 games will be broadcast live from the Whittemore Center beginning at 7 p.m., except for the IceBreaker games, which begin at 5 p.m. The NHPTV broadcasts are also available on the internet via webcast at www.nhptv.org.
