CSTV to broadcast UNH hockey games

NEW YORK-- College Sports Television announced its "Friday Night Hockey Package" on Monday afternoon and they will carry three University of New Hampshire men's hockey games live during the 2004-2005 season.

CSTV will televise the following UNH games: Friday, Oct. 15th vs. Michigan at Yost Ice Arena; Friday, Nov. 5th vs. Boston University at the Verizon Wireless Arena; and Friday, Feb. 4th vs. Maine at the Whittemore Center.

CSTV's "Friday Night Hockey" features 13 teams that competed in the 16-team NCAA tournament last year. All six Div. I hockey conferences are represented on the 33-game broadcast schedule, up from 30 games in 2003-2004. The CSTV broadcast team consists of Eric Frede and Steve Schlanger rotating on play-by-play, while Billy Jaffe will handle color commentary.
