MEN'S HOCKEY HEADS TO VERMONT FOR KEY HOCKEY EAST WEEKEND SERIES
    DURHAM, N.H. – The No. 4 ranked University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team will travel to Burlington, Vt. for a weekend series with the No. 15 ranked University of Vermont Catamounts at Gutterson Field House in a key Hockey East series this weekend.
    The New England Sports Network (NESN) will be airing the Friday, Jan. 5th game live at 7:30 p.m., as Hockey East kicks off its nine-game television package. Tom Caron will provide play-by-play, while former Michigan Wolverine Jeff Norton will handle the color commentary duties. Tune into NESN’s new half-hour Hockey East pre-game show hosted by Bob Beers and Providence alum Tom Fitzgerald at 7 p.m.
    On Saturday night, January 6th, Comcast (CN8) will air the game at 7 p.m. from Gutterson Field House. Greg Madden will provide the play-by-play and Bob Norton will handle the color duties.
    UNH (14-3-1 overall, 10-1-1 HE) currently sits atop the Hockey East standings with 21 points and an eight-point lead, while Vermont (11-6-1, 6-2-1 HE) currently occupies second place with 13 points.
