MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – Senior Craig Switzer (Peachland, B.C.) of the University of New Hampshire men's ice hockey team has signed with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. Switzer inked an amateur try-out (ATO) contract for the Nashville Predators’ AHL afflicate.

Switzer was selected to the All-Hockey East Second Team. An iron man on defense, Switzer played in all but one game during his collegiate career. He finished tied with Darren Haydar for the program record of consecutive games played at 158.  Switzer tallied a career-high 20 points (6g, 14a) this season. Switzer’s six goals rank first among UNH blueliners and finished his storied career with 67 points in four seasons.

Switzer becomes the fourth Wildcat to sign an ATO contract this off-season. On April 4, classmates Mike Radja (Yorkville, Ill.) and Matt Fornataro (Calgary, Alberta) signed with the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus’ AHL affiliate, while earlier today Kevin Regan (South Boston, Mass.) signed with the Providence Bruins.
