WMUR-TV TO TELEVISE MEN’S HOCKEY NCAA FIRST-ROUND ACTION ON FRIDAY NIGHT
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire is pleased to announce that WMUR-TV out of Manchester, N.H. will be televising first-round play of UNH men’s hockey and Notre Dame on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. The broadcast is made possible through the efforts of WMUR-TV, NCAA, ABC syndication and the University of New Hampshire.

WMUR will be airing ESPNU’s syndicated broadcast from out at the NCAA West Regional in Colorado Springs, Colo. The game will also air on ESPNU at 1 a.m. on tape delay. Clay Matvick, Damian DiGuilian and Jim Paradise will call all the games for ESPN from Colorado Springs.

In addition, ESPNU will air the Regional Final live on Saturday at 10 p.m. (EST). WMUR will not be permitted to carry the Regional Final due to NCAA and ESPN agreement. In addition to ESPNU and WMUR’s coverage, the first round game and Regional Final can also be seen live on ESPN360.com. Other stations covering UNH’s first round game in Colorado Springs include:  Altitude in Denver, Colorado, Cox TV in Rhode Island, FSN New York (tape delay) Mediacom (Iowa), NW Iowa Telephone and Time Warner in Rochester, N.Y. (tape delay).
