MENS HOCKEY RANKED 19TH USCHO.COM POLL
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The University of New
Hampshire men’s hockey team has ridden a six-game unbeaten
streak and returns to the top 20 for the first time since it was
ranked 16th in the preseason poll (Oct. 5). The latest poll was
received on Monday afternoon by the USCHO.com office.
The Wildcats garnered 112 points in the poll and are among four
Hockey East teams in the top 20.
New Hampshire is unbeaten in its last six games with a 5-0-1 mark
and has captured wins over three-straight nationally ranked
opponents during that span.
The USCHO.com Poll consists of 50 voters, including 28 coaches
from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports
professionals from across the country. The poll, published weekly
by the Associated Press, is a production of USCHO.com, which
provides in-depth coverage of college sports, including hockey,
lacrosse, soccer and others.
