MEN’S HOCKEY RANKED 19TH USCHO.COM POLL

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team has ridden a six-game unbeaten streak and returns to the top 20 for the first time since it was ranked 16th in the preseason poll (Oct. 5). The latest poll was received on Monday afternoon by the USCHO.com office.

The Wildcats garnered 112 points in the poll and are among four Hockey East teams in the top 20.

New Hampshire is unbeaten in its last six games with a 5-0-1 mark and has captured wins over three-straight nationally ranked opponents during that span.

The USCHO.com Poll consists of 50 voters, including 28 coaches from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports professionals from across the country. The poll, published weekly by the Associated Press, is a production of USCHO.com, which provides in-depth coverage of college sports, including hockey, lacrosse, soccer and others.
