Men's Hockey Clinches Home-Ice for Hockey East Quarterfinals; Tickets Go On Sale Wednesday

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's hockey team became the first team in Hockey East to secure home-ice advantage for the Hockey East quarterfinals. The 'Cats have played on home-ice for an unprecedented 15 straight postseasons and will play host to a league opponent still to be determined in a best-of-three series March 11-12 and, if necessary, 13.

On Wednesday, Feb. 23, all available reserved seats for games one and two will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. at the Whittemore Center Arena Ticket Office, online at www.unhwildcats.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Tickets are $24 each. Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more by calling 603-862-4000 extension 5.

UNH students can pick up general admission tickets for games one and two beginning Monday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at the Whittemore Center Arena Ticket Office. All tickets that are not picked up by UNH students will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, March 9, at 10 a.m. If game three is needed, tickets will go on sale immediately following game two at the Whittemore Center Arena Ticket Office, online at www.unhwildcats.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
