Before UNH: Hardowa played three years in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL), leading the Spruce Grove Saints to the 2008-09 regular season title… Hardowa led all defensemen in the AJHL, scoring 63 points in 61 games on 20 goals and 43 assists… He was a two-year captain and in 2008-09 was voted the league’s most outstanding defensemen and co- MVP.
