DURHAM, N,H. – Senior Brett Kostolansky (Denver, Colo.) of the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team has signed a contract with the Rapid City (South Dakota) Rush of the Central Hockey League (CHL).
Kostolansky played in 143 career games, including all 39 games in 2012-13. He recorded 46 points on seven goals and 39 assists over his four years, including ten points during his senior season. Kostolansky matched a career high of two assists in a 4-0 win against UMass on March 2, 2013. He also registered an assist on the game-winning goal in the NCAA Northeast Regional semifinal vs. Denver on March 29, 2013.
Kostolansky and the Wildcats finished the 2012-13 season with a 20-12-7 overall record qualified for the NCAAs. The Wildcats advanced to the Regional Finals for the fourth time in five years.
