Hardowa signs (ATO) Contract with Abbottsford Heat of American Hockey League

DURHAM, N,H. – Senior captain Connor Hardowa (Edmonton, Alberta) of the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team has signed an amateur tryout (ATO) contract with the Abbottsford (British Columbia) Heat of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Hardowa played in 143 career games, including all 39 games in 2012-13. He recorded 43 points on 11 goals and 32 assists over his four years, including 15 points during his senior season. Hardowa tallied an assist on the game-winning goal in the NCAA Northeast Regional semifinal game vs. Denver. He opened the season with an assist in four consecutive games. UNH went 10-1-0 when he recorded a point during his senior season.

Hardowa and the Wildcats finished the 2012-13 season with a 20-12-7 overall record qualified for the NCAAs. The Wildcats advanced to the Regional Finals for the fourth time in five years.
