Durham, N.H.--The coaching staff of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer program led their respected Seacoast United teams to four state titles in the New Hampshire Tournament of Champions (TOC) held at Keene State June 3-4. All four teams will represent New Hampshire in the regional championships at the University of Rhode Island July 1-4. Seacoast United Soccer Club placed a total of four girls teams and five boys teams in the TOC finals, winning a total of seven state championships.

Brunner will play for the New Hampshire Phantoms and Rosa will appear with the Rhode Island Stingrays. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.




DURHAM, N.H.--The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced that six student-athletes have signed letters of intent for the 2000 season, including two local Seacoast United Soccer Club standouts.




The University of New Hampshire Men's Soccer Team is accepting registration to its 8th annual WINTER INDOOR SOCCER CAMP for boys and girls, ages 8-12. This year will feature two exciting sessions. Session I will, run from February 21-25, 2000 and Session II will run from February 28-March 3, 2000. Space is limited to the first 40 applicants for each session.

ORONO, Maine — Adam Purcell had five goals to lead the Wildcats past the University of Maine men’s soccer team, 6-2, in conference action at Alumni Field. Drew Ferrigno and Jay Heimgartner each had two assists for New Hampshire.




Manchester, N.H.-Dartmouth College scored two second half goals as the Big Green shut out the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team 2-0 Wednesday night at Singer Park in Manchester. UNH drops to 5-11-1 and Dartmouth improves to 2-7-3.




DURHAM, N.H.-Senior midfielder David Pettitt scored the game winning goal just under seven minutes into overtime as Hofstra University shut out the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team 1-0 Sunday afternoon. The Wildcats fell to 5-10-1 overall and 1-6-1 in the America East. Hofstra improved to 9-7-0 overall and 4-3-0 in conference play.




DURHAM, N.H.-Junior forward Adam Purcell (Barrington, R.I.) scored two goals as the University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team got back on track as they defeated Drexel University 3-1 Friday afternoon. The Wildcats improve to 5-9-1 and the Dragons fall to 7-6-1.




NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware defeated the University of New Hampshire, 2-1 in overtime, in men's soccer, Sunday.




Towson, Md. — Sophomore goalkeeper Chris Hurley made five saves and posted his third shutout of the season as Towson University (6-3-3, 2-2) snapped a two-game losing streak with a 2-0 AMERICA EAST victory over the University of New Hampshire (4-8-1, 0-4-1) on Friday afternoon.

The Wildcats drop to 4-7-1 overall and 0-3-1 in the AMERICA EAST Conference. Hartford improves to 5-6-1 and 3-0-1 in conference play.




DURHAM, N.H.-Sophomore midfielder Jason Allen scored on a penalty kick just over four minutes into overtime to lift the University of Vermont men's soccer team over the University of New Hampshire 1-0 Friday. The Wildcats fall to 4-6-1 and Vermont improves to 6-3-1.




BOSTON- The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to Northeastern 2-1 Sunday. The Wildcats stand at 4-5-1 and 0-1-1 in the AMERICA EAST. Northeastern is 6-3 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play.




Boston, Mass. — Junior Adam Purcell (Barrington, R.I.) scored a pair of late second half goals as the University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team and Boston University played to a 2-2 double overtime draw Friday night. UNH now stands at 4-4-1 and BU is 3-2-4.




Oneonta, N.Y.-Junior forward Adam Purcell (Barrington, R.I.) recorded a hat trick as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated Hartwick College 3-0 Saturday. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 4-4 and Hartwick falls to 2-3.




University Park, Pa.- In the second day of the Penn State NIKE Classic, the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team 5-0.

BURLINGTON, V.T.- The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell in overtime to New Mexico 2-1 at the Smith Barney Soccer Classic Sunday.

DURHAM, NH — The 1999 America East preseason men's soccer poll was released today with UNH ranked seventh out of 10 teams.




After finishing in fifth place in AMERICA EAST for the second consecutive year and missing the conference playoffs by a mere point, the 1999 Wildcats will be looking to work their way into post-season play this fall in hopes of earning the title and the now-automatic bid to the NCAA Championship that comes with it.
