DURHAM, N.H. - Logan Lee (Racine, Wis.), a freshman on the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team, was named America East Rookie of the Week by the conference Monday afternoon for his efforts in this past weekend's Smith Barney Soccer Classic.

Lee, a 6-2 forward, was named to the All-Tournament team of the Smith Barney Classic after notching a goal in each of UNH's victories over Georgetown and Holy Cross. In Sunday's 3-2 double-overtime win over Georgetown, Lee netted the game winner with just 7:43 left in the match to give the 'Cats the tourney title, their first since 1997. In Saturday's win over the Crusaders, Lee's first career goal late in the opening half gave UNH a 2-1 halftime advantage.

Lee is a 2001 graduate of Washington Park H.S., where he led the varsity soccer team in scoring in each of his four seasons. He was a four-time All-Conference selection and a two-time All-State honoree.

The Wildcats return to action on Friday (9/14) when they square off with No. 4 North Carolina in the first round of the Nike Carolina Classic. The next UNH home game is September 19 at 3:30 p.m. when the 'Cats host Massachusetts.
