HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. Christoudias Constantinos scored the game-winning goal in the 67th minute to lead the Hofstra University Pride past the Wildcats of the University of New Hampshire during Sunday afternoon’s match.
    Hofstra improves its record to 3-2-1 while New Hampshire drops to 4-2-1.
    Hofstra controlled the game as it outshot New Hampshire 15-7.  New Hampshire goalkeeper Brian Levey (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny made seven saves in net while Hofstra’s Tom Johansen made three saves.
    Hofstra’s goal was scored when Arman Osooli stole a UNH pass and tipped it to Michael Todd who then set Constantinos up for a shot into the far post.
    New Hampshire had a late opportunity when Kyle Urso (Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East) received a midfield pass just inside the penalty area and shot the ball near the far post.  Hofstra goalkeeper Johansen was able to block the shot and smother it.
    New Hampshire plays its next match on September 20 at the University of Massachusetts at 3:30 p.m.
