UNH MEN’S SOCCER BATTLES TO SCORELESS TIE WITH ALBANY

- The University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team battled to a scoreless draw after 120 minutes of play with the University at Albany in conference action. With the tie, the fourth scoreless draw of the season, the Wildcats’ record adjusts to 3-4-5, 0-1-2 in America East and the Great Danes record moves to 2-7-2, 1-0-1.  

Junior forward Kyle Urso (Lombard, Ill.) had multiple scoring opportunities with a team-leading four shots, including two on goal. Junior midfielder Scott Rowling (Richboro, Pa.) tallied three shots, one on goal.
 
Senior goalkeeper Mike Jenne (Vernon, N.Y.) played all 120 minutes, earning his fourth shutout of the season. Jenne recorded two saves for the Wildcats, including one in overtime. Steward Ceus made four saves for the Great Danes, three of which came in the second period. 

New Hampshire returns to action at home when they play host to Stony Brook on Wednesday, Oct. 17. Kickoff on Lewis Field is 3 p.m.
