WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Frank Radlof (Milford, N.H.) won a pair of events to lead the University of New Hampshire men's outdoor track and field team to a win at a five-team meet at the College of the Holy Cross' Hart Track on Tuesday.

The Wildcats finished with 221.50 points to beat out the University of Rhode Island (211), Central Connecticut State University (72.50), Holy Cross (39) and Worcester State College (28).

Radlof produced a first-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.99 meters, as well as the triple jump with a mark of 13.52m. Freshman Garrett Finn (Lebanon, N.H.) and sophomore Max Hoddwells (Wayne, Maine) were second and third, respectively, in the triple jump with marks of 13.34m and 13.19m.

Radlof also placed fourth in the javelin with a throw of 58.70m. Junior Michael Simon (Durham, Conn.) won the event with a mark of 61.28m, while senior Chris Morgan (Goffstown, N.H.) was fifth at 58.18m.

Senior Paul DeTurk (Durham, N.H.) continued his dominance in the hammer throw, winning the event with a toss of 56.47m. Graduate student Jeff Kaste (Atkinson, N.H.) and junior John Randall (Boscawen, N.H.) placed second and fifth, respectively, with marks of 55.23m and 52.06m.

Senior Brice Paey (Milton, N.H.) also kept up his success in the shot put, winning that event with a throw of 17.50m. Kaste, freshman Cameron Lyle (Plaistow, N.H.) and Randall finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively, with marks of 15.61m, 15.24m and 15.07m.

Kaste also finished third in the discus throw with a toss of 43.24m.

Freshman Matthew Guarente (Saugus, Mass.) won the high jump with a mark of 1.99m.

Junior John Donaghy (Sutton, N.H.) was second in the pole vault as he cleared a height of 4.15m.

On the track, senior Will Brehm (Pembroke, N.H.) won the 400m in a time of 49.36 seconds.

Sophomore Sean Mitchell (Shrewsbury, Mass.) finished first in the 800m in 1:55.79.

Classmate Dan Decrescenzo (New Milford, Conn.) was first in the 5000m as he crossed the finish line at 15:00.56. Senior Marc Ouellette (Hopkinton, N.H.) was fourth at 15:07.56.

Ouellette scored a win of his own, finishing first in the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 9:22.00. Sophomore Alex Beaulieu (Merrimack, N.H.) and freshman Sidney Griffin (Barrington, R.I.) were second and third, respectively, in times of 10:10.65 and 10:20.01.

Freshman Corey Duchemin (Manchester, N.H.) placed second in the 1500m in a time of 4:04.31.

Junior Alex Macleod (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was also second in the 400-meter hurdles in 54.68.

Freshman Victor Adejuyigbe (Penacook, N.H.) finished third in the 200m in 22.82, as well as fourth in the 100m in 11.04.

The Wildcats' 4x400-meter relay team placed second at 3:32.67, while the 4x100 squad was third at 43.21.

The Wildcats return to action Saturday, April 24 at 11 a.m. when they play host to the Wildcat Invitational III at the Reggie F. Atkins track.
