UNH Men's Cross Country finished 16th in New England Championships

BOSTON -The University of New Hampshire men's cross country team finished 16th in the New England Championships on Friday at Franklin Park. The Wildcats finished with 476 points out of a 255 runner field. New Hampshire was also the top America East conference team finishing two spots above nearest conference foe Maine.

All of UNH's scoring runners finished in the top half of the field anchored by Brandon Williams' (Hooksett, N.H.) 77th place finish in a time of 26 minutes, 4 seconds. Mackenzie Kilpatrick (Weare, N.H.), Robert Stiles (Haddonfield, N.J.), and Nathan Leveille (Atkinson, N.H.) all finished in the top 100 for the Wildcats.

The meet was captured by Providence with a combined score of 40 points, while Brown's Patrick Tarpy won the race with a 23:57 finish.

The men's and women's team will be at the Albany Invitational on Saturday, October 18.
