MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PLACES SEVENTH AT NEW ENGLANDS
RESULTS

DURHAM, N.H.
– Senior Robert Edgerton (Cornish, N.H.) placed 14th in a tightly-packed race to help the University of New Hampshire men’s cross country team score 252 points to finish in seventh place at the 43-team New England Cross Country Championships on Oct. 6 at Franklin Park in Boston.
   
Edgerton finished the 8K course in 25 minutes, 33 seconds, which tied him with Keith Drake of Connecticut College. Just nine seconds separated the 14th and eighth-place finishers.
   
Senior Jordan Horwitz (Evanston, Ill.) was the next Wildcat finisher, completing the race in 27th in a time of 25:54, just nine seconds off the pace of the 19th-place finisher.
   
Joshua Kearns (Ridgefield, Conn.) and Wesley Dinnan (Juneau, Alaska) tied for 67th in the 291-runner field, finishing in a time of 26:30.
   
The Wildcats race again Oct. 13 at the Albany Invitational in Albany, N.Y.
