MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY 12TH AT NCAA NORTHEAST REGIONAL
BOSTON - Senior Wesley Dinnan (Juneau, Alaska) placed 47th overall to lead the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team to a 12th-place finish at the 36-team NCAA Northeast Regional on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park.
The Wildcats finished with 366 points, while Syracuse University won the meet with 59 points.
Dinnan completed the 10-kilometer course in a time of 32 minutes, 52 seconds.
Graduate student Ben Jenkins (Francestown, N.H.) and freshman Cory Sinotte (Hooksett, N.H.) placed 63rd and 68th, respectively, in times of 33:10 and 33:14.
Senior Marc Ouellette (Hopkinton, N.H.) finished 80th in the 244-runner field in a time of 33:23, while classmate Nick Decresenzo (New Milford, Conn.) rounded out the Wildcat scorers by finishing 108th in 34:03.
The Wildcats return to action Saturday, Nov. 21 at the ICAAAA Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in New York, N.Y.
