Men’s Cross Country Competes at New Englands

BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Kent Harlow (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) placed 82nd overall to lead the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team to a 22nd-place finish at the 43-team New England Championships at Franklin Park on Saturday.

The Wildcats competed in the varsity division and finished with 585 total points, while Connecticut captured the meet with 149 points.

Harlow crossed the finish line at 26:21.

Sophomore Joseph Jourdain (Hudson, N.H.) placed 112th in a time of 26:43, while graduate student Andrew Dionne (Westerly, R.I.) finished 115th at 26:44.

Freshman Jeff Moretti (Guilford, Conn.) and senior Alexander Beaulieu (Merrimack, N.H.) placed 138 and 139, respectively at 27:02 and 27:03 to round out the Wildcat finishers.

The Wildcats return to the course on Saturday, Oct. 15 when they take part in the UAlbany Invitational at 1:30 p.m.
