DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team will face the Netherlands National Team in an exhibition game Tuesday, November 7 at 7 p.m. at Lundholm Gymnasium. The game will give fans their first look at the 2000-01 women's basketball team in game action.

Head coach Sue Johnson has a squad featuring nine returning letterwinners from a season ago. The 'Cats were picked to finish fourth in the America East preseason coaches' poll released last week. Among the top returnees are senior Kelly Donohue (Rochester, N.H.), who ranked third in America East last season with 118 assists.

Other top returnees include junior guards Kiki Proctor (Harrisburg, Pa.) and Heidi Plencner (Hampton, N.H.) and junior center Anna Matthias (Guilford, Conn.).

The 'Cats will have one more exhibition game on Monday, November 13 against Nor'Easter Storm before opening the 2000-01 regular season at home against Brown on Friday, November 17.
