BELIVEAU GRABS 3RD AMERICA EAST ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the third time this season, University of New Hampshire freshman Denise Beliveau (Framingham, Mass.) takes home the America East Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

In her first career start as a Wildcat, the forward tallied career highs in points (22) and rebounds (10) for her first career double-double against Northeastern on Saturday. Earlier in the week against Iona, Beliveau notched 12 points and four steals. She is second in the conference in steals, averaging 2.50 per game.

Additionally, she has cracked the top-ten in scoring with 11.2 ppg this season, and leads the conference in three-point field goal percentage (.448).

After the holiday break Beliveau and the rest of the Wildcats will travel to Providence to face the Friars on Dec. 28. The team returns home to open-up conference action against Albany on Jan. 5.
