Kerry Cashman joined the University of New Hampshire women’s basketball staff as the Director of Operations in September 2012.

As the director of basketball operations, Cashman is primarily responsible for all film exchange, team travel, continued development of alumni and the friends of women's basketball group and all other administrative duties. She will also serve as the community service and life skills liaison.

Cashman is a 2011 graduate of Boston University, where she earned a B.S. in Hospitality Administration and was a four-year letterwinner for the women’s basketball team. Cashman was a two-time captain for the Terriers and had a breakout senior season in which she averaged 7.5 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game; with those numbers, she ranked third in rebounding and second in blocks in the America East conference en route to being named to the All-Conference Third Team.

She also excelled in the classroom. The Newfields, N.H. native and former Exeter Area High School standout was named to the 2011 America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll and the 2010 Academic Honor Roll.

In 117 career games at BU, Cashman recorded 466 points, 496 rebounds, 97 blocks and a .483 field goal percentage. In her four years, the Terriers made two WNIT appearances, were the America East runner-up twice and the league regular-season champions in 2009.

Cashman has held the position of New Hampshire Rivals (Manchester, N.H.) head coach since March 2012. Her collegiate coaching career began as an assistant coach at Lesley University (Cambridge, Mass.) in the 2011-12 season; her responsibilities included creation and execution of practice plans as well as development of post players.

Cashman was a Student-Athlete Athletic Council (SAAC) member at BU. She also did volunteer work with Race for the Cure (Breast Cancer Awareness) and the Special Olympics.
