Zaban Named To The ECAC Honor Roll

Durham, N.H.--Senior center Carisa Zaban (Glenview, Ill.) of the University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team was named to the ECAC Honor Roll Monday for her efforts against St. Lawrence and Cornell last weekend.

Zaban, who leads the Wildcats and the conference in scoring with 16 goals and 21 assists for 37 points was named to the Honor Roll for the fifth time this season.

In the 2-1 loss against St. Lawrence on Friday night, Zaban set-up the lone UNH goal that tied the game 1-1 before the Saints scored their last goal to win the game.

Against Cornell, Zaban tallied her second hat trick of the season and addedtwo assists in the 8-3 win. She assisted on the game winning goal in the rout.

Zaban and the Wildcats return to action on Saturday and Sunday when they host Northeastern and Providence in two conference match-ups. Game time is set for 7 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the Whittemore Center.
