DURHAM, N.H.-Senior forward Carisa Zaban (Glenview, Ill.) and junior forward Michelle Thornton (Gloucester, Ont.) of the University of New Hampshire women's hockey team were named to the ECAC Honor Roll Monday.
Zaban became one of three UNH women's hockey players to reach the 200 career point mark in the 7-0 shutout over Yale Friday night. She scored two goals and added two assists in the win. Zaban currently leads the Wildcats with five goals and six assists for 11 points.
Thornton scored her first goal of the season in the win over Yale and added one goal and two assists against Princeton Sunday. Against Princeton, she assisted on the game winning goal and sealed the victory with a goal of her own five minutes later.
The Wildcats host Harvard in a rematch of the 1999 National Championship game Saturday at 3 p.m. They face off against Brown on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Whittemore Center.
