DURHAM, N.H. - The National Youth Sport Corporation (NYSC) has announced that the University of New Hampshire will host the NCAA Youth Education through Sports (YES) ice hockey clinic at the Rinks at Exeter (N.H.) on March 23 in conjunction with the NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Championship.
All participants in the clinic will receive a camp t-shirt, a Nike baseball cap and a voucher for the March 24 NCAA Women's Frozen Four championship game at the Whittemore Center (Durham, N.H.). The voucher will gain admission to the consolation and title games. The consolation game is set for noon while the championship is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start time.
The YES clinic is open to youths aged 10-18 and will feature collegiate ice hockey coaches as instructors. Participants will also be involved in a conditioning session that will focus on exercise and nutrition and a life skills session, which will address academic responsibilities, goal setting and leadership.
