DURHAM, N.H. — Colleen Christopher, who completed her junior year at the University of New Hampshire this season, was one of 28 players selected to the USA Women's Lacrosse Developmental Team today by head coach Sue Murphy.




DURHAM, N.H. — Stephanie Keefe, a former midfielder on the University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team, has been selected to play in the prestigious IWLCA Division I/II North/South Senior All-Star game, which is part of the 2000 STX Lacrosse Festival that takes place June 10 at Towson University's Minnegan Stadium. BOSTON, Mass - In a battle for first place in America East, the 10th-ranked Boston University women's lacrosse team remained atop the standings with a 15-1 1 victory against the University of New Hampshire at Nickerson Field on Monday afternoon. UNH fell to 6-8 overall and 3-2 in the conference while BU improved to 12-3, 5-0.

The game will be played Thursday, March 30 at UMass (not at UNH as originally scheduled) with a start time of 3:30 p.m.

The game, which was originally postponed from March 21, can not be played as scheduled due to inclement weather and no make-up date is available.




PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Senior midfielder Steph Keefe (Newton, Mass.) netted a career-high five goals to spark the University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team to its first win of the 2000 season with Sunday afternoon's 12-5 victory at Drexel University. UNH is now 1-3 overall and 1-0 in America East while Drexel fell to 1-2, 0-2.




DURHAM, N.H. — The women's lacrosse game between the University of New Hampshire and the University of Massachusetts scheduled for Tuesday, March 21 has been postponed. The game will be played Tuesday, March 28 at UNH's Memorial Field at 3:30 p.m.




NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Junior midfielder Colleen Christopher (Hampton Falls, N.H.) gave the University of New Hampshire women’s lacrosse team the lead 1:44 into the game, but 16th-ranked Vanderbilt University rolled to a 16-7 victory Tuesday night in its home opener. UNH falls to 0-2 while the Commodores improve to 1-3.
