DURHAM, N.H.- Senior midfielder Jessie Groszkowski (Reisterstown, Md.) of the University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team was named America East Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. It was the second time this season that Groszkowski had received the award.

Groszkowski totaled six points on five goals and one assist in two games last week. Against ninth-ranked North Carolina on March 19, Groszkowski tallied one of three Wildcat goals and picked up seven ground balls and won two draw controls to contribute to the UNH effort. Groszkowski then followed up that effort with a four goal, one assist performance against Richmond, matching her season-high point total.

Groszkowski has scored a goal in 35 consecutive games for the 'Cats. She leads the team in goals (21), points (22) and draw controls (22).

Groszkowski, a 2002 All-America First Team selection, now ranks second all-time on UNH's career goals scored list, with 145. She needs 11 goals to pass Pauline Collins (155) for the top spot. Her 22 points this season has also moved her into fourth place on the career points list, with 165. Collins is next on the list with 178.
