WOMEN'S LACROSSE TEAM EARNS ACADEMIC RECOGNITION
BALTIMORE, Md. – The University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team received Academic Squad honors for the 2010 season as announced Friday by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
UNH was one of 51 programs – one of three America East conference squads – that recorded a team grade-point-average of 3.0 or higher in the spring 2010 semester to earn this recognition.
Under the direction of first-year head coach Michael Daly, the Wildcats had a 10-7 overall record and extended their America East record for consecutive tournament appearances to 13 years. The 'Cats compiled 100 assists to mark just the second time in program history the team attained the 100 milestone in that statistic.
