WOMEN'S SOCCER ADDS NATIONAL POWERHOUSE YALE TO SCHEDULE
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women’s soccer program added Ivy League powerhouse Yale University to its 2007 schedule. It was announced on Friday.

The Wildcats travel to face the Yale Bulldogs on October 27. In 2005, the Bulldogs advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals before losing to Notre Dame. Since the 2002 season, Yale has posted an impressive 57-28-6 record (.648).

UNH is also set to do battle with three other Ivy League institutions during the 2007 campaign. The Wildcats play host to Brown on September 11 before making visits to Harvard (Sept. 23) and the annual Granite State rival Dartmouth match on September 25.

The Wildcats, who finished fifth, overall in the America East in 2006, open the 2007 season on the road at the University of Vermont Classic on Friday (Aug. 31) and will square off against George Washington University.
