UNH Women's Volleyball Defeats Drexel

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -The University of New Hampshire women's volleyball won its second conference match in a 3-0 sweep of Drexel University on Sunday afternoon at the Physical Education Center. The game scores were 15-12, 15-4 and 15-8.

With the win UNH is now in the midst of a four match win streak and are 12-8 overall and 2-0 in America East.

UNH was paced by senior co-captain Bethany Cole (Canterbury, N.H.) who notched a match-high 11 kills. Juniors Jillian Ross (Naperville, Ill.) and Jennifer Walker (Fulton, N.Y.) each recorded eight kills apiece. Junior Stacy Barnett (Crystal Lake, Ill.) had a solid day at setter posting 33 assists and six digs.

UNH returns to action at home on Oct. 16 against Towson University at 1 p.m. in Lundholm Gymnasium.
