UNH VOLLEYBALL ROLLS OVER VERMONT

Burlington, VT-- The University of New Hampshire women's volleyball team defeated the University of Vermont, 3-0 in an America East conference match on Wednesday night at Patrick Gym. The game scores were 15-3, 15-5, 15-3.

With the win the Wildcats improve to 16-9 overall and 7-2 in conference play.

The Wildcats were led by senior co-captain Kim Mirts-Poen (Essex, Iowa) who recorded a team-high eight kills and four digs. Senior outside hitter Jillian Ross (Naperville, Ill.) also solid evening with six kills and three digs.

The Wildcats return to action on Friday, Oct. 27 at 4 p.m. in Lundholm Gymnasium to face off against the University of Delaware.
