BURLINGTON, Vt. - Sophomore Alyson Coler's (Monte Sereno, Calif.) 13 kills led the University of New Hampshire volleyball team to 3-0 sweep of the University of Vermont at Patrick Gym on Wednesday.
The Wildcats improved to 6-5 on the season, while ending the Catamouonts (1-11) one-game winning streak in the process. Vermont beat Plattsuburg State on Tuesday to end a 41-game losing streak.
Sophomore Jen Williams (Mountain View) had a game-high 12 digs, as UNH rolled over the Catamounts, 30-21, 30-13, 30-19.
The Wildcats had 16 service aces as a team, led by Williams and Coler with four apiece.
New Hampshire returns to action on Oct. 3 against the University of Maine at Lundholm Gymnasium .
