PHILADELPHIA - Trailing 28-23 in game one, the University of New Hampshire volleyball team stormed back to take the set, 38-36 and went on to beat Drexel University, 3-0 Sunday afternoon at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The scores were 38-36, 30-28 and 30-23.

UNH improves to 13-8 overall and 7-3 in America East with the victory while Drexel drops to 9-16 and 2-8 in league play.

Sophomore outside hitter Alyson Coler (Monte Sereno, Calif.) led UNH with 19 kills and eight digs while freshman outside hitter Bonnie Wilson (Moraga, Calif.) had 13 kills and 11 digs. Coler finished with a .486 hitting percentage while Wilson had a .344 percentage. Freshman setter Kerin MacKanin (Bartlett, Ill.) had 40 assists for the Wildcats and sophomore middle hitter Chelsea Hammer (Eden Prairie, Minn.) had five blocks.

UNH, currently third in the America East standings behind Towson and Northeastern, plays its final four games of the regular season at Lundholm Gymnasium. The 'Cats square off against Stony Brook Saturday (11/3) at 4 p.m. and Hartford Sunday (11/4) at 1 p.m .
