DURHAM, N.H. - Junior setter Anne Davis (Groveland, Ill.) of the University of New Hampshire volleyball team was named America East Setter of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Davis, the starting setter during UNH's current season-high five match win streak, recorded 79 assists, 20 digs, four kills and three blocks in the Wildcats' two wins this past week. She averaged 9.88 assists per game in UNH's two matches vs. Albany and Binghamton.
To date this year, Davis has recorded 389 assists, 97 digs, 26 kills and nine blocks.
The Wildcats are currently 15-10 overall and are tied in first place with Northeastern atop the America East standings with a 5-1 record. The 'Cats face Northeastern University on Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the last regular-season meeting between the two teams. Match time is 7 p.m. at Lundholm Gymnasium.
