04/26/2003 DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's volleyball team held its annual awards banquet on Saturday, April 26 in the Oak Room of the Huddleston dining hall. Juniors Anne Davis (Groveland, Ill.) and Sasha Scott (North Branford, Conn.) were named co-captains for the 2003 season, while senior outside hitter Lauren Knight (Centerville, Mass.) was recognized as the Most Valuable Player for the 2002 season.
04/21/2003 STORRS, Conn. - The University of New Hampshire volleyball team competed in its second tournament of the spring season and defeated host University of Connecticut in the championship game, 2-1, on Saturday, April 19th in Storrs, Conn. The game scores were 30-32, 30-24, 15-11.

12/05/2002 The 10th-ranked University of Minesota Golden Gopher volleyball team (31-5) advanced to the second round of the NCAA Championships with a 3-1 win by scores of 30-18, 28-30, 30-17 and 30-21 over New Hampshire (23-11) at the Sports Pavilion on Thursday evening. Minnesota will play No. 17 Georgia Tech, who defeated Florida A&M in the earlier game by scores of 30-21, 30-27 and 30-17 to advance to play the Golden Gophers in the second round on Friday, Dec 6 at 6:30 p.m.

Championship Most Outstanding Player Lauren Knight tallied a match-high 16 kills to lead the Wildcats to their second NCAA appearance.

10/18/2002 ORONO, MAINE (10/18/02) - The University of Maine women's volleyball team (6-16, 0-3 America East) lost a tough, America East conference battle, 3-1 (30-26, 30-23, 26-30, 30-25) to New Hampshire (10-13, 3-1 America East) on Friday, Oct. 18, in Orono, Maine. "The Pit" in Memorial Gym was deafening as the Black Bears recorded 578 in attendance, one of the biggest crowds in the program's history. New Hampshire was 10th in the Northeast Regional Poll entering the match.

In the first match of the day, the 'Cats defeated West Virginia University, 3-0, and in the late match, UNH fell to Rutgers University, 1-3. The game scores in the WVU match were 30-27, 30-20, 30-28 and in the Rutgers match, 30-23, 28-30, 27-30, 18-30.
