VESTAL, N.Y. - The University of New Hampshire volleyball team posted a five-set victory over Binghamton Friday night at East Gym. The game scores were 30-27, 26-30, 30-24, 31-33, 15-12. New Hampshire improves to 18-11 and 9-2 in America East Conference play, while the Bearcats fall to 14-13 overall and 4-7 in league action.

Natasha Otte (Plymouth, N.H.) led UNH with 20 kills. She also recorded five blocks. Erin Walker (Fulton, N.Y.) notched 14 kills. Alyson Coler (Monte Sereno, Calif.) registered 12 kills, while Karen Harrington (Windham, N.H.) chipped in with 11. Katie Weidner (Warrenville, Ill.) quarterbacked the UNH offense with 41 assists, while Anne Davis (Groveland, Ill.) had 17 helpers.

Michelle Heck paced the Bearcats with a match-high 25 kills.

The New Hampshire women's volleyball team returns to action on Saturday when it travels to America East newcomer Maryland, Baltimore County for a 7:00 match. The next Wildcat home match is November 14, when UNH hosts Northeastern. That match is set for a 7:00 start at Lundholm Gymnasium.
