BALTIMORE - Erin Walker (Fulton, N.Y.) registered 20 kills to lead the University of New Hampshire volleyball team to a 3-1 win over University of Maryland, Baltimore County Saturday night at RAC Arena. The Wildcats improve to 19-11 overall and 10-2 in America East Conference play, while the Retrievers fall to 14-17 (3-8 America East). The game scores were 30-27, 29-31, 30-18, 30-27.

Three other players reached double figures in kills for New Hampshire. Alyson Coler (Monte Sereno, Calif.) and Karen Harrington (Windham, N.H.) each recorded 13 kills, while Natasha Otte (Plymouth, N.H.) added 10. Sasha Scott (North Branford, Conn.) had 31 defensive digs, while Coler added 17 and Jen Williams (Mountain View, Calif.) chipped in with 11. Katie Weidner (Warrenville, Ill.) and Anne Davis (Groveland, Ill.) split setting duties, with Weidner dishing out 25 assists and Davis 22.

Jocelyn Teoh paced UMBC with a match-high 26 kills and 19 digs.

New Hampshire returns to action Friday, November 14, when the Wildcats host Northeastern. That match is set for a 7:00 start at Lundholm Gymnasium. That match will be a battle for first place in America East, as the Wildcats and Huskies enter the contest tied for the top spot in the conference with 10-2 records.
