DURHAM, N.H. - New Hampshire (21-11, 12-2) has clinched the top seed for the 2003 America East Volleyball Championship. The Wildcats will host the four-team championship at Lundholm Gymnasium in Durham, N.H. on November 21-22. The Wildcats will meet No. 4 Albany (24-9, 9-5) Friday at 7 p.m. The teams played Saturday night with New Hampshire earning a 3-0 win.

Stony Brook (19-12, 10-4) is the No. 2 seed by virtue of its season series sweep of No. 3 Northeastern (22-10, 10-4). The Seawolves and Huskies will start the America East Championship Friday at 4 p.m.

Tickets for the America East Volleyball Championships are $7 dollars for adults, $3 dollars for children, senior citizens and UNH students. The first 100 UNH students to enter Lundholm Gymnasium get in free. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Whittemore Center Box office or by calling TicketMaster at (603) 868-7300. Tickets can also be purchased on the internet at www.ticketmaster.com.

The winner of the America East Championship receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
