DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's volleyball team ended its spring season hosting a five-team tournament on Saturday afternoon at Lundholm Gym. The Wildcats won four of five games on the day with wins against Boston College (30-28), Maine (30-25), Rhode Island (30-24) and the UNH alumni (30-22) and a loss to Harvard (30-27). UNH played each team for one game to 30 points in rally scoring format.
The Wildcats were paced by freshman outside hitter Emmy Blouin (St. Albert, Alberta) who finished the five games with a team-high 23 kills, 13 digs and a .268 hitting percentage.
Junior outside hitter Erin Walker (Fulton, N.Y.) recorded 16 kills which ranked second on the Wildcat roster and her seven blocks were a team best. Senior Jen Williams (Mountain View, Calif.) ran the Wildcat offense with a team-best 40 assists, 18 digs and four service aces.
Junior middle hitter Karen Harrington (Windham, N.H.) posted eight kills and a team-high .571 hitting percentage to lead the 'Cats, while sophomore outside hitter Sarah Rehn (Oceanside, Calif.) notched a team-high 21 digs on the day.
