DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's volleyball team has announced that the team will hold the second annual "Volley for Holly" tournament on Sunday, April 30 in Lundholm Gym at 10 a.m.
The event was created to raise money for Wildcat volleyball player Holly Young who is undergoing treatment for Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. The funds raised at the event will go to Holly's family to help offset the cost of treatment and travel expenses.
Teams can sign up until Friday, April 28, teams can enter the tournament with a donation of $40 dollars and can enter up to 12 players per roster. Fans can attend the tournament by donating $2 dollars as they enter Lundholm Gym. UNH varsity athletic teams, coaches and staff will be on hand participating in the tournament supporting Holly's fight against cancer.
