DURHAM, N.H.-- The University of New Hampshire athletic department has announced that two women's volleyball matches will be broadcast live on the UNH Sports Radio Network during the 2005 season.
The Wildcats will be live on the radio on Tuesday, August 30 vs. St. Peter's College (7 p.m.) and Sunday, October 30 vs. America East rival University of Maine (1 p.m.)
The volleyball matches can be heard on the exclusive seacoast station of the UNH Sports Network, WTSN Radio (1270AM) in Dover, which is the originating signal. The network also consists of WFEA 1370AM in Manchester; WTPL 107.7FM in Concord; WNTK 99.7 FM in New London; and WUVR-1490AM in Lebanon, NH.
Wildcat volleyball fans can also listen live on the internet on www.yahoo.com.
The Wildcats open the season Friday, August 26th vs. San Francisco at the Delaware Tournament in Newark. Match time is 4:30 p.m. UNH will also face 2004 defending national champion Stanford University on Tuesday, Sept. 6th on "Pack the Arena Night" at Lundholm Gymnasium.
