    DURHAM, N.H. – Junior outside hitter Emmy Blouin (St. Albert, Alberta) recorded 25 kills, including six in the decisive fifth game, to propel the University of New Hampshire to Tuesday night’s 3-2 non-conference victory against Harvard University at Lundholm Gymnasium. The game scores were 30-24, 25-30, 30-26, 19-30 and 15-12.
Senior Outside Hitter
Sarah Rehn

    Senior co-captain Sarah Rehn (Oceanside, Calif.) also had a outstanding night on offense with a career-high 24 kills, a .298 hitting percentage to go along with 14 digs in the victory. Blouin tied her career-high kill total which she set back on Aug. 26 in the Bucknell match at the Fairfield Tournament.
    Junior middle blocker Jess Compton (Woodridge, Ill.) also finished the match with nine kills, a career-high nine blocks and a team-high .300 hitting percentage.
    Sophomore setter Lucia Bridova (Bratislava, Slovakia) managed 49 assists and 14 digs quarterbacking the ‘Cat attack, while freshman libero Alyse Lahti (Pepper Pike, Ohio) recorded 13 digs.
    UNH posted 20 kills and a match-high .289 hitting percentage in the opening game. The Wildcats improve to 3-10 on the season, while Harvard drops to 2-5.
    The UNH volleyball team returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 26 with a 7 p.m. match vs. intrastate rival Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. The ‘Cats will then open America East play on Friday, Sept. 29 at Maine (7 p.m.)
